Level 2 Automotive Technician

We are seeking a full-time Level 2 Automotive Technician to perform a variety of basic to intermediate diagnostic, preventative maintenance and repair work on our Transportation Services fleet, as well as vehicles operated by eitas-funded agencies. This position will use electronic diagnostic equipment and traditional hand tools, along with acquired knowledge to inspect, repair and maintain vehicles. Work is performed on automotive/light and medium truck systems in accordance with the preventative maintenance schedule.

The position requires at minimum:

A high school diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years of previous automotive/light and medium duty truck/van repair and diagnostic experience or equivalent training; a CDL with passenger endorsement and good driving record; and a Missouri Motor Vehicle Inspection License or the ability to obtain one.

Automotive Technician

We are seeking an Automotive Technician to perform a variety of intermediate to advanced-level diagnostic, preventative maintenance and repair work on the eitas Transportation Services fleet, as well as vehicles operated by eitas-funded agencies. This position will use electronic diagnostic equipment and traditional hand tools, along with advanced knowledge to inspect, repair and maintain vehicles. Diagnose and repair automotive/light and medium truck systems in accordance with the preventative maintenance schedule.

The position requires at minimum:

A high school diploma or equivalent, minimum five (5) years of automotive/light and medium duty truck/van repair and diagnostic experience. Minimum of four (4) ASE certifications, including refrigeration, recycling and recovery, CDL with passenger endorsement, Missouri Motor vehicle Inspection License, good driving record and a Federal DOT medical certification.

Instructors

We are currently recruiting contract instructors for day and evening classes teaching Department of Mental Health (DMH) Medication Aide; Two-Year Medication Update; and American Red Cross First Aid and CPR. Positions are part-time and provide no benefits.

Instructors are compensated as such:

  • DMH Medication Aide Training - $630

  • Two-Year Medication Update Training - $140

  • American Red Cross First Aid and CPR Training - $28 per student

Instructors must be currently licensed to practice as either a registered nurse or practical nurse in Missouri or hold a current temporary permit from the Missouri State Board of Nursing. The licensee shall not be subject to current disciplinary action such as censure probation, suspension or revocation. If the individual is a licensed practical nurse, the following additional requirements must be met:

  • A valid Missouri license or temporary permit from the Missouri State Board of Nursing

  • A graduate of an accredited program which has pharmacology in the curriculum

Support Coordinators

We are seeking Support Coordinators to provide targeted case management services, within a person-centered support and planning framework, for persons with developmental disabilities. For a caseload of approximately 40 people, under the TCM program, support coordinators are responsible for ensuring that individuals receiving supports have access to and receive services that meet their needs. This position will be also responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of the services and supports being given.

Support Coordinators will possess core competencies such as disability values and knowledge to understand and articulate the philosophies and  practices related to support individuals with disabilities; self awareness to recognize and respond to any personal or professional values or behavior that may interfere with the ability to provide supports in an ethical, unbiased, and culturally competent manner; professionalism to develop and utilize personal and professional skills in a responsible and responsive manner; and engagement to maintain a relationship with the individual and their team.

The position requires one of the following qualifications: a registered nurse license or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Drivers

We are currently seeking experienced full-time Drivers to transport adults with developmental disabilities. Hours are similar to school bus drivers (split-shift days), but we run YEAR- ROUND!

Qualified applicants must have:

  • HS Diploma or GED;

  • CDL;

  • good driving record;

  • and previous commercial driving experience.

We offer $13.56/hr to start. Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening required.
