Eitas is currently hiring for a Spare Driver:

  • 6400 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City MO 64133

  • Full time schedule

  • Pay range for starting salary: $19.20 per hour, more possible based on experience

  • Comprehensive benefit package, including health, vision, and dental

  • Company-paid life, short-term and long-term disability insurance

  • 22 days PTO earned your first year, 12 holidays, plus 1 floating holiday per year

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Transport passengers in designated vehicle in a safe manner and adhere closely to the established schedule.

  • Operate designated vehicle in a safe, reasonable, and prudent manner and in accordance with all state and local laws, ordinances, and rules, at all times.

  • Assist passengers on and off vehicle when necessary; driver should stand outside vehicle at facilities to assist passengers.

  • Provide route coverage for staffing shortages as needed.

  • Learn all DOT routes through a rotation system that allows you to accompany the Driver enroute


The successful candidate will have:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement

  • Experience driving passenger vehicles, 1 year required (2 years preferred)

  • Criminal record without convictions or charges that might endanger the safety of our passengers

  • Good driving record      

  • Knowledge of the Kansas City metropolitan area

  • Federal medical certification
