Safety Coordinator

Eitas is currently hiring a Safety Coordinator:

• 8511 Hilcrest Ave., Kansas City MO 64138

• Full time schedule

• Comprehensive benefit package, including health, vision, and dental

• Hybrid remote work available

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Provide new employee safety training, annual safety training, and training on other topics as needed to help employees maintain a healthy and safe working environment.

• Review videos of buses and facilities to identify and address any potential safety hazards. Conduct and record all required safety drills.

• Communicate as needed with contracted safety providers, the alarm company, security personnel, elevator inspectors, fire extinguisher inspectors, first aid suppliers, etc.

• Chair the Safety Committee.

• Maintain familiarity with CARF, OSHA, and other applicable safety standards.

• Travel to perform safety duties at all eitas locations.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree or the successful completion of a college-level course of study in safety, quality assurance, or human services is required.

• Familiarity with standard office safety practices is required.

• Familiarity with fleet vehicle safety practices settings is preferred.

• Outstanding organizational skills

• Must be proficient in MS Office

• Excellent customer service skills
